Life 2 Live

CARE International UK has launched the Life2Live campaign to highlight the risks faced by women and children who live in some of the poorest and most remote communities in the world. Their stories shine a light on the life-threatening experiences of people living in countries like Nepal and Niger.

From giving birth alone and afraid at home because there is no clinic or midwife to support you in your hour of need, to not being able to give your child the nutritious food they need to grow up strong and healthy. From losing a child the moment you gave them life, to losing a child you’ve cared for and loved but couldn’t protect from the devastating effects of poverty.

Poverty is not inevitable. Together we can change it.

Lack of basic health care prevents people from overcoming inequality and fulfilling their potential. The Life2Live campaign is raising vital funds to help women survive childbirth so they can give their children a healthy and secure start in life.

CARE works with and for poor communities in more than 80 countries around the world to fight poverty, save lives and deliver emergency relief when disaster strikes. We are non-religious and non-political, allowing us to deliver support to anyone in need regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, age, religion, political view or sexual orientation.

So join the fight with CARE to help make sure every woman and child has the chance of a life to live.
